Nela Kaiserová sings Heavenly Cavalry by Adam Václav Michna from Otradovice. The recording from the Christmas concert of the 1st primary school "Na hájích" in Slaný was created in the Chapel of the Blessing of the Virgin Mary in the Museum of National History. Adam Václav Michna of Otradovice was one of the most important Czech Baroque composers and poets of the 17th century. He mainly wrote sacred music with his own poetic texts. He wrote a number of songs for the literary fraternity, which brought together non-professional church singers and musicians from the ranks of burghers and craftsmen. Many of his songs have become popular and some of them, especially Christmas songs, are still popular today. In this legendary work of the Czech Baroque music, Michna considers the church as the "bride of Christ" by literary means of "mystical eroticism". The cycle also includes the well-known wedding song "Heavenly Cavalry" (known, for example, from the television series F. L. Age.). Michna's original edition was considered lost for some time, and the first modern works on this work were based on the oldest surviving copy from 1666. The Czech lute is the second of three published collections by Adam Michna of Otradovice. This collection is very different from the other two. While Czech Marian Music and Holy Music take the form of traditional cancionales, ie collections of devotional songs intended for the common singing of believers during services at different times of the church year and on the occasion of important life events (baptism, marriage, preparation for a good Christian death), Czech lute is internally cohesive. a contemplative-lyrical composition, the individual poems of which, through biblical themes and typical motifs of Baroque Catholic piety, examine various aspects of the mystical unification of the world with God, both individually (human soul ready to respond to God's offer of salvation) and global (universal Christian Church as Christ's chosen bride). approaches a marriage that alone can save the world from eternal destruction). The range of compositions is also different, Loutna česká consists of only thirteen thematically connected songs, in Czech Marian Music and Svatoroční muzika the number of songs is in the tens.
