Belize is the smallest country in Latin America, and one could drive straight through the whole country without charging once. Throughout Belize, there are 4 public charging stations, but as you will see, I will struggle to charge Beluga. As I studied environmental science at the university, I learned that there is a drastic change we have to make to our lifestyles to prevent a disastrous environmental collapse. Changing the way we consume, from our energy usage to the food that we eat, has a big impact on the environment. This expedition, 'Watts of Freedom', was created to dive head first into pushing boundaries. We need to keep working hard towards a sustainable energy ecosystem. I think this is within our reach, as this is the only future we can have to survive. 200 years from now, if we survive, our ancestors will look back into our history books to see what we managed to save or destroy. There is only one place in our entire universe that allows for humans to survive, so we must do our best to protect this precious rock we call home.
