The next video will be available in a day or two, covering stitching jeans liner to purse top, top-stitching, sizing the jeans liner bottom, and a few finishing touches. 0:00 Versions A & B are covered 0:30 Version A quilt extensions - cut and free motion this 8 inches by bag width - reinforce magnet area with interfacing 1:27 Cut & free-motion quilt padded straps 9 by 34 inches - fabric, batting and medium-weight fusible interfacing 2:01 Bag parts: purse top, jeans liner, 2 quilted extensions, 1 magnet, 2 straps 3:07 Cut straps 3:31 Trim colorwash purse top and red quilt extensions with a slightly angled side 5:17 Trim stenciled purse top and self-extensions with a slightly angled side 6:42 Press purse straps 8:03 Sew purse straps shaping as you feed through sewing machine 8:41 Toddler patches 10:19 Be mindful of your pockets 10:41 Straightening back waist line 11:15 Pieces are all assembled 10:22 Stitching bag twice with 5/8 seam allowance 11:49 Pinning boxed corners 15:14 Stitch quilt extensions twice at 5/8 15:44 Pinning extension to jeans, watching metal rivets and zipper teeth. Version A - I match side seams which creates bulk. Version B - I off-set the bulky side seam when pinning the extension. Make this look intentional 17:43 Stitch at 5/8 on flat bed or turn inside out for free-arm. A zipper foot is the best plan 18:50 Seam presses toward extension.
