Tragedy strikes as two cherished women killed in horrific Ohio fiery crash

MORE: https://abc6onyourside.com/news/local... A tragic crash in Delaware County claimed the lives of two women, leaving their northwest Ohio communities in mourning. The incident occurred on US 23, just north of State Route 750, around 8:32 p.m. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 64-year-old man from Mount Cory, Ohio, was driving a Toyota Venza northbound in the left lane when a 52-year-old woman from Columbus, traveling southbound in a Dodge Ram, veered left of center. The woman's vehicle collided head-on with the man's car before striking a Honda Accord driven by a 38-year-old man from Lewis Center. Both the Columbus woman's and the Lewis Center man's vehicles caught fire. The Mount Cory man's vehicle had three passengers: Carol Waldman, 64, of Mount Cory, was in the passenger seat. Amanda Reidling, 52, and a 56-year-old man, both from Arcadia, were in the rear seat. Tragically, Carol Waldman, a 64-year-old retired school teacher, and Amanda Reidling, a 54-year-old pastor, died in the collision. Both Carol and Amanda were on the right side of the vehicle. The two men in the car were both taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital with serious injuries. "We as a school family have heavy hearts," said Bruce Otley, superintendent of Liberty-Benton Local Schools in Findlay.
