Today I drive the 23:04 Stepford Connect service from Stepford Central to Whitefield (R020) in Class 321 set 321 378. At the time of filming, the 321s were the only trains in the Stepford Connect fleet yet to be refurbished, however they were still widely used on the network. R020 is one of two routes terminating at Whitefield, the other being R022 (Beechley to Whitefield). R020 is also the only route to stop at Houghton Rake - however, due to the frequency of the route, Houghton Rake enjoys quite high service frequencies relative to other limited-service stations on the network. As can be seen in this video, the Whitefield Branch was originally electrified with 25kV 50Hz overhead wires.
