The Mount Bulusan volcano in the Philippines just produced a new eruption, sending a plume of ash 2,800 meters or 9,000 feet into the atmosphere. Although the eruption only lasted for seventeen minutes on June 5th, there is a worry that more explosions will occur rather soon. This eruption occurred while the volcano was at an alert level of 0, and was thus completely unexpected. This video will separate fact from fiction, and discuss what size and duration of volcanic activity is expected at Bulusan. Bulusan is a complex stratovolcano situated in an 11 kilometer wide caldera.
