   / @3dtvunderground   From NTSB Report: Analysis The pilot reported that immediately after landing, the airplane veered to the left. She attempted to pull back on the yoke and apply the brakes, but the airplane went off the runway, struck a ditch, and flipped over which resulted in substantial damage to the fuselage and vertical stabilizer. The pilot reported that there were no preaccident mechanical malfunctions or failures with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation. Probable Cause and Findings The National Transportation Safety Board determines the probable cause(s) of this accident to be: The pilot’s failure to maintain directional control during the landing roll. Looks like the pilot had 201 hours of logged flight time and only 37 hours in this Cessna. https://www.ntsb.gov/Pages/ResultsV2.... This video is not meant to expose any dangers or concerns with the Young Eagles Program. In fact, I still believe that the program is great for young kids with dreams of flying. We are grateful for the program and we will return next chance we get. We believe this was a very rare and fluke accident.
