Audio switch On the opposite side HDMI OUTPUT USB-C power input SPDIP (Optical Audio Port) Connect the USB-C cable. Connect USB-A to USB adapter. Connect optical cable to SPDIP port. WARNING: Optical cable can only be inserted from 1 side! Connect HDMI cable to HDMI INPUT WARNING: Don't connect to HDMI OUTPUT! Connect optical cable to soundbar IMPORTANT: Don't yet connect the HDMI to your computer! First turn ON the soundbar, otherwise your computer might not detect the soundbar! IMPORTANT: Change the source to D.IN (Optical IN) by pressing "Source" on the Soundbar Remote! Connect HDMI cable to HDMI port of computer Your computer should automatically detect the soundbar! Click on the speaker icon on Windows & make sure HDMI is selected as your playback device NOTE: You could use both your soundbar's remote control or computer's volume to increase or decrease your volume! TIP: If your soundbar has got only 1 subwoofer & 1 speaker, then leave the audio switch at the center, that is, 2 channels! TIP: If your soundbar has got only 1 subwoofer & 5 speakers, then switch the toggle to 5.1! IMPORTANT: You can't simply switch the audio toggle while the HDMI extractor is still connected to your computer! WARNING: You can't connect the HDMI OUTPUT to soundbar or surround sound system, use optical cable instead! HDMI output can be connected to Monitor, TV, Projector. SUMMARY: HDMI to the laptop, Laptop to the extractor HDMI INPUT, Optical cable to the Extractor, & from the extractor to the soundbar! Converted HDMI to Optical using HDMI Audio extractor!
