Definitely something on my bucket list. "La Villa" is one of those tracks that I had listened to for years, but never tried to play. When I first sat down to learn this at the beginning of my month of Rush (August 2019 will be hereby known as "Mike's month of Rush") ;) I could play most of it, but man, that middle section!! Lol! This turned out to be one of the hardest songs I've ever learned, so I hope I did it justice! I was actually able to get the isolated stems for this song. So unlike most of my videos, I'm not playing on top of another drum recording. That gave me the opportunity to incorporate certain elements of the song that have evolved with Rush over the years...Most notably during the solo section. So please, sit back and enjoy the "strangest" cover I've ever done! ;-) sorry I had to...
