The Mid-Hants Railway's 'AUTUMN STEAM SPECTACULAR' was held over the weekend of October 25th-27th 2013. This event was similar to the one held two years ago in which three Main-Line locomotives based at Southall visited for the event. Two of those locomotives returned for this event as well. They being BR(E) A1-class 4-6-2 No.60163 "Tornado" & BR 'Britannia'-class 4-6-2 No.70000 "Britannia". The third loco this time was SR rebuilt 'West Country'-class 4-6-2 No.34046 "Braunton" instead of LNER A4-class 4-6-2 No.60019 "Bittern". Locomotives featured during the event were... BR(E) A1-class 4-6-2 No.60163 "Tornado" (visiting from WCRC Southall). BR 'Britannia'-class 4-6-2 No.70000 "Britannia" (visiting from WCRC Southall). SR rebuilt 'West Country'-class 4-6-2 No.34046 "Braunton" (visiting from WCRC Southall). SR 'West Country'-class 4-6-2 No.34007 "Wadebridge". SR LN-class 'Lord Nelson' 4-6-0 No.E850 "Lord Nelson". SR V-class 'Schools' 4-4-0 No.925 "Cheltenham". SR U-class 2-6-0 No.31806. LMSR 'Black 5'-class 4-6-0 No.45379. Plus appearance by BR Class 37/9 'Slug' Co-Co No.D6836. Among the attractions at the event included double-heading & demonstration freight train runs. Filmed at Alresford, Ropley, Medstead & Four Markes and Alton. Bonus - also features the arrival of "Braunton", "Tornado" & "Britannia" at Alton on Tuesday 22nd October.
