Lechfall, High Castle, St Mang Monastery - Füssen, Ostallgäu - Bavaria, Germany | Drone aerial view

I visited the Lechfall, near Füssen, as part of a road trip through the Romantische Straße I took with my wife in early April 2019. On the 2nd of April, after leaving Wieskirche at about 6pm, we drove towards our night accommodation near Füssen. First we stopped by Sankt Koloman church where I had the chance to fly near Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein castles and then we continued our tour towards the Lechfall which is just about 500 meters away from the town itself. I started my flight from the Lechfall at about 8pm so it was getting quite dark and that doesn't just give any justice to the beauty of the Lech river. By the time I completed the flight it was about 8.15; but I did manage to fly just at the entrance of Füssen to grab a quick shoot of the High Castle and the Benedictine monastery of St. Mang illuminated by night lights.
