Uma tarde de condições complicadas na Base Aérea das Lajes, na Ilha Terceira, voltou a mostrar que o vento pode ser o maior desafio da aviação. 🌬️✈️ O protagonista deste vídeo é o mais pequeno da família Dash 8, o Q200 da SATA Air Açores, que chegava da Horta (Ilha do Faial) no voo SP631. Com vento lateral forte a cruzar a pista, por volta das 13h40, o pequeno mas robusto turboprop fez-se à pista e conseguiu aterrar com sucesso, numa aterragem que muitos vão considerar… no mínimo impressionante. An afternoon with challenging conditions at Lajes Air Base, on Terceira Island, once again showed that wind can be aviation’s greatest challenge. 🌬️✈️ The star of this video is the smallest member of the Dash 8 family, the Q200 operated by SATA Air Açores, arriving from Horta (Faial Island) on flight SP631.
