We are making supreme pizza flavored summer sausage. We came up with the recipe and we tried it for the first time in this video. In our meat shop, we make a ton of summer sausage and have quite a few recipes...this is my new favorite. It may be the best summer sausage recipe we have come up with yet. It literally tastes like you just took a bite of pizza. I hope you will give this one a try...it is delicious! Here is the recipe: 5 lbs. ground meat 1/2 cup dried tomatoes- you could use more 1/2 to 3/4 cup sliced olives 1/2 or 1 whole small yellow onion-diced 1 small green bell pepper-diced mini pepperonis to your taste 8 oz. diced cheese-we used colby jack, but use whatever you like 5 Tablespoons Morton Tenderquick 5 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning 4 teaspoons garlic salt 5 teaspoons coarse ground black pepper 4 teaspoons crushed fennel seed 5 teaspoons crushed mustard seed 1 Tablespoon red pepper 2 teaspoons paprika
