Portion: 3 - 4 pax / 4 burgers Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 30 minutes + 2 hours in the freezer Ingredients A (patty): 400 g minced pork belly 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper coarse 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tbsp mixed herbs whole 1 tsp cornstarch 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp cooking oil Ingredients B (sauce): 2 tbsp mayonnaise 2 tbsp tomato sauce 1 tbsp mustard some lime juice some paprika powder some Worcestershire sauce Ingredients C: 4 pcs burger bun Adequate butter Adequate cooking oil Ingredients D (condiments): ½ pc white onion (sliced) 4 pcs cheese 2 pcs iceberg lettuce Preparations: 1. Mix well all Ingredients A, form 4 meatballs weighing 100 grams each, gently press the meatball to form a patty & place in the freezer for 2 hours 2. Mix well all Ingredients A and set aside 3. Slice the burger bun into half, butter the burger bun and place butter side down on a pan and cook until golden brown, set aside Steps: 1. Heat the pan, add in some cooking oil 2. Place the patties into the pan & cook until the patties turning opaque or when juices start to pool at the top of the patty, this will take around 5 minutes 3. Place cheese on top of the patties, add some water to the pan, cover with a lid and simmer until the cheese is melted 4. Retrieve the patties, place it on the burger’s bottom bun 5. Dress with sauce and lettuce, cover with burger’s upper bun 6.
