Come along for the ride as we explore the Ironton Rail Trail in Coplay, Pennsylvania on a lovely late summer day. ‪@JPVideos81‬ hosted his first ride-along meetup for folks who wanted to join in on their bicycles, eBikes, and electric scooters. This paved trail has a 5 mile loop and a 4 mile spur that travels over the former railheads of the Lehigh Valley Railroad and the Ironton Railroad. Off trail there is a lot to see including railroad ruins, industrial ruins, an Atlas Cement switcher, an Ironton caboose, an abandoned passenger coach, other railroad memorabilia, cement kilns from the late 1800's, and more.
