Personally, I'm pretty reserved with the way that I use the term, "miracle." In keeping with the way the Bible uses the term, I see a miracle as an occasion on which God does something noticeably impossible. There are no "minor miracles" in the Bible. That being said, at times, to refer to the beauty and benevolence that God has brought into my life through His providing care as mundane, ordinary, run of the mill stuff seems to fall short. Maybe it shouldn't. Miracles in the Bible frequently demonstrated the care and compassion of God, particularly as they were performed by Jesus and those whom He imbued with the Spirit's power. God was doubtlessly involved in those miracles, but He is no less involved in my life even if I don't experience something noticeably impossible. The ordinary experience of a child of God is something extraordinary. Psalm 136 gives thanks to God for His goodness, His majesty, and His mercy. It then reminds us as readers that mercy can be seen in the miraculous, but it can equally be seen in the mundane. While God's will doesn't involve Him constantly doing the impossible, it does involve Him being constantly involved in our lives.
