Guys and Gals out there, I’m here to tell you that being capable to defend yourself doesn’t require a billion techniques. You simply need to understand some concepts and be able to implement a few principles under stress so that you will be effective in defending yourself or your loved ones. You have the ability in you but it must be cultivated and refined a bit. We can help you with that. In the mean time, learn some positions and study them via YouTube or better yet, with an experienced buddy: Over/under or Pummeling position, collar tie and inside tie position, tight waste takedown, whizzer, and Greco Roman wrestling fundamentals. This will not make you capable by research alone, you must be immersed in the training eventually. Understand that being confident in hand to hand skills gives you the ability to be more reasonable in violent situations. Being reasonable and composed will not only keep you from catastrophic failure but also keep you from becoming the criminal.
