The WEAVE or SOCIAL ECOMAP is a practical tool to help you assess whether your environment is increasing or decreasing your capacity to deal with life’s challenges. — Start with your name in the centre of a document — Write down names of people or pets that are significant in your life currently — Write down places that you spend a significant amount of time currently — Write down activities that you do a lot currently — Write down ways in which you identify yourself currently — Use one colour to draw arrows from the resources toward you if they GIVE you something — Use another colour to draw arrows away from you toward the resources if they TAKE SOMETHING from you — Step back and look at how your resources affect you. Do you need to make changes to the resources in your environment? References/Links: Curable is a great app for tools to deal with chronic pain.
