This sweet snack can be made at home or purchased from bakeries and various markets. In this video, I have shown the recipe to make typical Nepalese donut at home. Ingredients for making donut- 1. All purpose flour- 1 cup 2. Salt- 1/2 tbsp 3. Sugar- 2 tbsp / as per your taste 4. Dry yeast 5. Oil- 2 tbsp 6. Warm water 7. Oil for frying Things to remember while making donuts- use warm water to knead dough. Fry on low to medium heat so that donut can be cooked properly both from outside and inside. Don’t put dough in refrigerator as it will slow down the yeast’s activity and cause dough to rise slowly. Yeast is more active when it’s warm. You can store donuts in fridge and can have it for two to three days. Warm donuts before serving.
