This is the happiest time to go to Bristol especially in December in the run up to Christmas. It's been 4 years I last did a journey video from London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads by train and this time it was so worth it. In the beginning of the journey, I filmed a lot of the Elizebeth Line in action from Royal Oak Portal Tunnels towards Reading which was great plus catching a glimpse of a Class 701 Arterio Aventra at Reading as well. We were meant to be at Bristol Temple Meads at 11:58 but we were running 10 minutes late because there was congestion at Bristol Temple Meads and there was disruption in the Newport area due to a fault with the Signalling System. We got to Bristol Temple Meads eventually on time and but it gave 5 minutes for the service to change drivers because our train was destined for Western-Super-Mare in the end.
