Today, I was focused on filming the new Suburban fleet on South Western Railway and I'm very happy to say that more of those new Class 701 Arterio Aventra units are entering service on the South West London Suburban routes on the Slow Lines on the South Western Main Line. I also wanted to film a number of Class 455s as well because they running their final 2 months of Revenue Service before they retire after 42 years of service. The Class 455s will be running their final day of operation on 21st December with a Farewell Tour planned that day. That will take place 4 days until Christmas that is. The Class 450 Desiros are covering a number of services on these routes that will soon be operated by the Class 701 Arterio Aventras once more of them are delivered and enter service on these routes afterwards. I also filmed a load of Class 700 Desiro Cities on Thameslink as well in this video as well.
