SUN VALLEY, LOS ANGELES, Mar. 17, 2026 (KNN) — A murder suspect led Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division officers on a short pursuit that ended with a vehicle crash near Arleta Avenue and Wicks Street, close to the 170 Freeway and Roscoe Boulevard off-ramp. The incident began when police attempted a DUI stop, but the suspect fled in the early morning hours of Monday. Following the crash, the suspect jumped a fence, ran onto private property, and climbed onto a roof. A standoff with the Los Angeles Police Department was ongoing.
