6 VANISHED IN MEMPHIS: Cold Case Investigation

In Memphis, Tennessee, six individuals remain missing with their disappearances leaving families searching for resolution. Our team conducts an intensive search for Marlaquinta McGee, Joe Rogers Brooks Jr., Terrence Lamar Bledsoe, Fabian Carruthers, Kirsten Joy Kryszak, and Tonja Conley. This documentary details our on-the-ground efforts as we focus on locating these individuals and working to provide answers for their families. ➡️ These are the circumstances for the Memphis 6, the individuals central to our search: Marlaquinta McGee was last seen on May 12th, 2015. After dropping off her children, she told her mother she was tired. It was reportedly uncharacteristic for Marlaquinta to leave without such notice. She was last observed in her security guard uniform, and her tan and brown 1999 Ford Contour (TN: 302 ZTG) is also missing. Marlaquinta has a diagnosed mental illness and did not have her medication with her at the time of her disappearance. Joe Rogers Brooks Jr. was reported missing from Memphis on February 2nd, 2012. His case is associated with a black 2002 Ford Explorer bearing Tennessee license plate 913 ZTP. Information regarding his whereabouts is sought by his family. Terrence Lamar Bledsoe was last observed on May 26th, 2019. He was seen leaving his ex-girlfriend's residence in a gold 1998 Buick LeSabre with a Mississippi license plate. His family is looking for information regarding his disappearance. Fabian Carruthers last made contact around 10:00 AM on May 5th, 2021, in Memphis. He indicated he had been gambling at a friend's house, won $1,000 which he intended to deposit, and was then planning to return home. Fabian did not return. He was in his silver 2016 Nissan Versa (TN: 5W7-5X0). Kirsten Joy Kryszak was last seen in Memphis around the New Year's holiday of 2001. She had been with her boyfriend and another man, attended two house parties, and stayed overnight at one location. The following morning, she requested a ride to her boyfriend's house. She was reportedly driven around for several hours by an individual in a blue 1988 Ford Aerostar van (KY: CYV 100). Kirsten was later seen at her boyfriend's apartment but subsequently left in the van and has not been located since. She had a known history involving illegal drugs. Tonja Conley has been missing since July 2nd, 2020. Neither Tonja nor her black 2010 Nissan Sentra with Tennessee license plate 6T21P9 have been located. Her family continues to seek information. 🛥️ Our Search Mission in Memphis Begins Our team launched our boat on the Memphis waterways, equipped with advanced sonar technology. We faced the unique and significant challenges of the Mississippi River, including its considerable size and strong currents, determined to cover key areas highlighted by our research. 🧭 Systematic Sonar Scans of Key Areas This video documents our methodical approach as we meticulously scanned the riverbed for anomalies that might indicate submerged vehicles. Our search patterns focused on strategic locations such as public boat ramps and areas beneath major bridges – common points where vehicles might enter the water. ❌ Initial Search Phase Concludes Without Recovery Despite thorough efforts, no vehicles connected to the Memphis 6 were located. This outcome was unexpected for our team, especially given the number of unresolved cases in the area. 💪 Our Commitment to These Cases Remains Strong However, our investigation does not end with this phase. Our team is already conducting further research and analysis to identify new potential search locations.
