A small town between Nojiri juku and Suhara juku in Kiso Valley Nagano is part of the Nakasendo trial. I had about two hours before my next train so I walked from Suhara to Okuwa station. I honestly wished I had just walked the entire part of the Nakasendo here instead of just along the river. Still, the sights were amazing in the countryside.
