Macau Day Trip

20th November 2025. An early morning for a day trip to Macau. Before leaving I got to sample the breakfast at the Mira. The subway to the ferry point was packed and I moved against a sea of people. I didn’t get a window seat but managed to annoy the people next to me with my filming. I had already planned that my first stop when I reached Macau was to walk to the A Ma Temple and then work my way through the city centre to see and soak up the heritage of the city. I moved from there to the ruins of St Paulo and I was unprepared for the map route (it’s actually took me through an apartment block) and the sheer number of people sightseeing. I looked at the beautiful Portuguese architecture of the centre and then made my way to the GUIA Lighthouse, which of course was at the top of the highest hill. I t was my last stop before heading back to Hong Kong via coach across the Hong Kong- Macau Bridge.
