It has been a long time coming for our Irish farmhouse with various obstacles, but we are finally here. Treating the joist timbers in the "workshop", outside on the homestead, removing the temporary flooring above and then finally, yes finally, the rotten joists are coming out and being replaced with new, bigger ones. Join us as we take our time removing the first rotten joist to finally get a new on in it's place keeping the same stone pockets that were used 100 years ago.
