A day in the life at Point Billies campground at Ningaloo Station. The wind instantly calms for the afternoon for us to search the shallow reef to try and redeem myself for round 2 of getting a crayfish for dinner. With hours of nothing we finally find some random broken ground that held 15 to 20 painted crays and even a few reds amongst them. No monsters but still in the mid 85 to 90mm sized shells and I was able to wrangle a few for dinner. Meanwhile Kel was flicking the jig around and bagged a couple of squid which made for a epic dinner combo of fresh squid and cray over some pesto pasta by the campfire and a sea of stars...
