MHR Sunbreak: Double Tigrex Trouble Vs. Courage Elemental Hammer (No Pets) - ティガレックス ハンマー ソロ【サンブレイク】

An amazing, nearly perfect run with the exact same strategy applied on both Tigrexes of the quest, only the second Tigrex took slightly longer because he's much bigger, which made me miss a few hits but it still went really well. Tigrex was the first monster I truly speedran, as I tried to beat BlazeMH's Strength Hammer run on it, which I achieved. Tigrex is also the first monster I tried elemental Courage hammer on and where I figured that elemental Hammer was indeed viable in Sunbreak. Tigrex is an average monster in Rise/Sunbreak that has been unnecessarily nerfed, similar to Rajang. Tigrex is slow as molasses in this game, is missing some hitboxes on its moves (such as the arm during the triple rock throw) and its AI is still very bad. As the series progresses, we get flagship monsters that are increasingly crazy and fleshed out (Magnamalo, Malzeno) while the ancient flagship monsters from the early games (Freedom, Freedom Unite, Tigrex, Nargacuga) are left out with basically always the same movesets and end up being average fights that severely pale in comparison to the new ones ; this is also somewhat exacerbated by the fact that Tigrex and Nargacuga don't have an element. #monsterhunterrisesunbreak #monsterhunter #monsterhunterrise #hammer
