A presentation by Chad P. Giblin Research Fellow in the University of Minnesota's Department of Forest Resources on the reintroduction of disease resistant elms to urban forests. Despite the overwhelming popularity of disease-resistant American and hybrid elms these trees are not worry-free. Chad covers some of the issues currently being examined at the University of Minnesota in the Departments of Forest Resources and Plant Pathology and discusses the future of elm use in urban and community forests.
