It's a nice residential area which has many trendy cafes, restaurants and bars. There are many shopping spots as well. Yongin city is the largest city in Gyeonggi province, the province that surrounds Seoul. There is well over a million people living there and it has had the largest population growth in Korea. That could be explained by the rising cost of living in Seoul. Yongin is in fact almost as large as Seoul in terms of surface. Yongin is home to Everland and Caribbean Bay, Korea's most popular amusement and water parks. The city is also home to the Korean Folk Village, the largest of its kind.
