Finally, here's the new 1-6. I've got exams over the next few weeks, so I'm not going to have very much time to work on QFTGS, but of course I'll still try to make some levels when I can. 1-6 was originally a really meh level; there wasn't anything really wrong with it, but the graphics were boring and a repeat of 1-1, and the gimmick was just... Yoshi. I suppose there were those berry blocks as well, but they were slow and got really annoying if they despawned. Anyway, those are gone now, and so is the secret exit; the original one was badly placed and just led to a warp, and it was basically just an afterthought. I don't want too many secrets in World 1 anyway, as it's supposed to keep things relatively simple. The gimmick this time is falling petals; they're actually just SMB3 moving platforms on invisible diagonal lines. I tried to switch things up by making them horizontal in the second section; originally they were meant to wrap around the screen, but I'd always just fall off when that happened, so that's why they just move back and forth. Originally, the second section was just going to be like the first but only on the semi-solid flower platforms, but I thought a vertical section would spice things up a bit. All in all, I don't think this level is the best thing I've made, but it's definitely better than the old 1-6. Also, starting from now, I've replaced all the Dragon Coins with Star Coins; the Dragon Coins were pointless and I put them in really hard to get places for such a worthless collectible (thanks to Robski10 for that idea). I don't know if 1.4.5 lets you add functionality to them, but I'm planning on having them unlock World 9 levels. Do leave a comment if there's anything you want to say.
