Cirque Peak hike via the Helen Lake trail could be one of the best hiking trails in Banff National Park! The trailhead to Cirque Peak hike is located along the Icefields Parkway, which is the highway going northwest to Jasper from Highway 1, Trans-Canada Highway. The parking lot is near Bow Lake. The first 3-4kms is forested, but eventually you will get views of a valley and meadows. Cirque peak trail has wildflowers, streams, rocky mountain peaks, and several small lakes/ponds. Once you get to Cirque Peak you will get a 360° view of Canadian Rocky mountain peaks! We did the Cirque Peak hike via the Helen Lake trail on June 30, 2021. I hope you enjoy this Banff hiking vlog!
