John Waite and his band perform Missing You, John's most successful single at the Nancy and David Bilheimer Capital Theatre in Clearwater, Florida on January 30, 2026. Missing You was written by John Waite, Mark Leonard and Charles Sandford and was the second track and lead single from No Brakes, John Waite's second solo album released in June 1984. Missing You was a huge hit single for John, reaching number one on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock, US Billboard Hot 100, US Cash Box Top 100 and Canada Top Singles charts. It was also nominated for the 1985 Grammy Award Best Pop Vocal Performance Male. Missing You was covered by several artists, including Tina Turner and Brooks & Dunn who's covers charted. The lead guitarist in this concert (formerly Shane Fontaine) was new to John Waite's band and unfortunately was not introduced to the audience during the concert.
