How to cook the perfect steak? Ever wonder how pro's do it so well every time? Watch this video and learn 6 different techniques on cooking a juicy, tender, flavorful steak. This is only part 1 or our 2 part steak series. We cook the first 3 steaks in this series Sous Vide, Reverse Seared and 1500 Degree Infrared. Which is the winner? watch to see. If you're ready, then let's get cooking! Ingredients: (3) Snake River Farms Ribeye Steaks-16 oz Salt and Pepper Recipe: (All steaks cooked to medium rare temp of 130 degrees F) #1 Sous Vide Steak: Season steak with salt and pepper on all sides. Place in a Sous Vide safe vacuum bag and submerse into 130 degree F water. Sous Vide for 2 hours and remove. Pad dry with a paper towel. Sear the steak for 1 minute on each side at 500-600 degrees F. #2 Reverse Seared Steak: Season steak with salt and pepper on all sides. Place on smoker/cooker at 200 degrees F for approximately 40 minutes until internal temperature reaches 110 degrees F. Remove and allow steak to rest for 5 minutes. Sear the steak at 500-600 degrees F for 1 minutes on each side. #3 1500 Degree Infrared Steak: Season steak with salt and pepper on all sides. Allow cooker to reach 1500 degrees F and slide in steak to the closest setting to the element allowing for 1” of clearance. Sear on each side for 1 minute. Remove and allow steak to rest for 5 minutes before repeating the same process.
