Did American Greed and Laziness RUIN Car Culture?

Car Culture is in a tough spot right now, almost anyone would agree to that. But is it just car culture? Or is it American culture in general that's being reflected in where our automotive culture is now? Where have all the manual transmission options gone, where have all the cars gone, and who's fault is it? Let's talk! I feel like I'm getting more and more Thatdudeinblue with this channel as time goes on, hopefully you all don't mind! Obviously this is a complicated situation and conversation, there are more than 1 or 2 variables to what's going on, but the results are astonishing. Even more interesting is it's now no longer even just an American car problem but a European and world wide production issue, all symptoms of a seismic shift in the automotive landscape. As somewhat of an Automotive Journalist there are a lot of things to talk about and hopefully spark some thinking and conversation, this is just one of them! What do you all think?
