A bunch of BNSF and CPKC action! One little clip of a CN GP 38-2 at Freeport, IL idling in the yard. What makes this special to me is it is X GTW, and X Rock Island Lines!! I enjoyed the Rock Island for years before its demise. We start off with an empty CPKC ethanol train passing westbound at Lanark, IL. Then we catch that wonderful CN GP 38-2. Next we head to Savanna, IL for a variety of action. Starting with a westbound BNSF and while he passes, an eastbound comes through also! Then, eastbound coal loads pass across the CPKC diamond with all CP power. Next is an eastbound loaded CPKC ethanol train with all KCS power up front and rear dpu! Next, we have another meet on the BNSF, westbound vehicle train passes and an eastbound manifest also passes! We then move to Clinton, IA and see a pair of northbound trains with a wide variety of CPKC paint jobs, from CP, to KCS, to KCS Gray Ghost, and a couple of fresh in the CPKC paint scheme! And finally, we have a short southbound CPKC 252 with a crusty red CP up front, a KCS mid dpu and at the back of the train is a fresh Trinity Railway Express passenger car!
