Fast/Short vs Slow/Long Z Trains, Variety of Power UP CSX NS KCS FerroMex & Side by Side CPKC Pacing

We start out with a comparison of Z trains, first is a fast, short one eastbound out in western Whiteside County, IL. Just out of Clinton, IA, he is getting up to speed. That is followed by a Z coming westbound into Clinton, IA, plenty of power but slowing for his crew change. He is easily twice as long as the first. Next we have a quick stop just before dark at Rochelle, IL railroad park and catch an eastbound BNSF stack train with a Ferromex unit in the consist. I just barely got out in time to catch this one! Then we are back at Clinton, IA and catch an eastbound UP ethanol train with a pair of CSX leaders. This is followed by an eastbound UP manifest with a UP, 2-CSX and 2-NS units up front and a UP mid dpu! In this train is a good line of UP MOW cars. Next we are over at East Clinton, IL to see UP's NSNP manifest past with 2 NS units up front. Finally, we go back to Clinton, IA for an up close and personal pacing of a southbound CPKC freight with 2 KCS units and 1 NS units.
