CCM Wind Symphony performs Jennifer Higdon's Percussion Concerto w/ soloist Adam Groh (Oct 17, 2025)

The CCM Wind Symphony is joined by CCM faculty member Adam Groh for a performance of Jennifer Higdon's Grammy Award-winning Percussion Concerto. CCM faculty member Kevin Michael Holzman conducts. CCM welcomed Higdon for a three day residency in October 2025, which included a variety of public performances and a Composition Symposium for CCM students, faculty and staff. More than 300 students were involved in the festival's performances, which featured Higdon's compositions for orchestra, wind band, choral, opera, percussion and chamber music. "When you have this many people involved in performances, it's such a spectacular display of the talent at the conservatory," Higdon said.
