The CCM Philharmonia is joined by student soloist Emily Stone, harp, for a performance of Jennifer Higdon's Grammy Award-winning Harp Concerto (2018). CCM faculty member Mark Gibson conducts. Rap Knock 18:09 End Credits 23:32 CCM welcomed Higdon for a three day residency in October 2025, which included a variety of public performances and a Composition Symposium for CCM students, faculty and staff. More than 300 students were involved in the festival's performances, which featured Higdon's compositions for orchestra, wind band, choral, opera, percussion and chamber music. "Our students regularly work with living composers, but in this case they are working closely with a celebrated Pulitzer and Grammy Award-winning composer," Gibson said. "We try to provide transformative experiences for our students and this will change peoples' lives." "When you have this many people involved in performances, it's such a spectacular display of the talent at the conservatory," Higdon said.
