The topic for today’s webinar is “MirRORs (miRNA Regulation of response) to salt stress” by Dr Neeti Sanan-Mishra, Group Leader, International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Dr. Neeti Sanan-Mishra graduated from Delhi University with a Bachelor's degree in Botany (Hon.). She completed her M.Sc. in Life Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and went on to pursue her Ph.D. in the area of Molecular Plant Physiology from JNU. Thereafter, in 1998, she became Research Scientist at Centre of Plant Molecular Biology, University of Delhi, South Campus, New Delhi. She joined ICGEB in the year 2000 and currently, she is leading the Plant RNAi Biology Group. Her group’s research interest is towards understanding the miRNA networks involved in regulating the plant development in response to virus infection, high temperature and salt stress. The group is using bioinformatics along with the traditional molecular biology and biochemical approaches to understand the miRNA regulations operative during development and stress. She has several awards and patents to her credit. She is also on the editorial board of scientific journals. Dr. Neeti has published several research articles in the reputed international peer-reviewed journals such as PNAS, Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Plant Science, Plant Molecular Biology and Virology. We are highly honoured to have her with us today. I now request Dr. Mishra to please share her screen and begin her talk. Speaker Information: https://scholar.google.co.in/citation...
