It is my first outdoor racing event since Turkey Derby The Doug Hoffman Memorial was hosted at the Bridgeport Motorsports Park since 2013. From finishing 16th at Homestead in the Trucks. Stewart Friesen flew to Bridgeport to race the Halmar #44. His bets were paid off when he passed leader young Alex Payne for the victory. Billy Pauch Jr. jumped from the pole and lead several laps until Payne passed him for the lead and, lead until Friesen caught him. With Friesen as the winner, Matt Sheppard was the runner up and, Payne completed the podium in the Short Track Super Series 60 Lap Modified event. Dillon Steuer finished sixth (Port Royal winner). Canadian native Donovan Lussier won the 44 lap Sportsman main event when he jumped into the lead when pole sitter Matt Ellery's car had a hiccup when the green was thrown. Ellery finished a very respectable second and, James Hill completed the Podium. Stephen Kemery (Port Royal Winner) finished seventh. Joe Garey Jr. won the 4 Cylinder I had to wrap this episode after the Sportsman because of cold temperatures.
