Talk Overview Cybersecurity a relatively young offshoot of information technology has been given an unenviable task: cook a nutritious and delicious meal without having taken part in the selection of the ingredients. Or, in more business friendly terms, protect everything that is important without knowing definitively what that means; do so with significant constraints (money, time, people) that do not hinder the adversary; and do so without negatively impacting productivity or creativity. In this presentation, Joshua Brown will explore some of the challenges facing the cybersecurity team of the present and the future while suggesting ways to improve our odds of success, and to transform information security into a business enabler rather than merely a cost center.
