Dan explores the fact that the book of Revelation is an urgent message from Jesus, given through John, to the disciples living in the first century AD. Again, we are going to be exploring the book of Revelation from the "preterist" perspective. The book of Revelation was written to address the events of the Roman/Jewish war of the late 60s of the first century AD. Scripture References: Revelation 1.1; Revelation 1.3; Matthew 24.34 “revelation” is a translation of the Greek word ἀποκάλυψις = apokalypsis = English transliteration “apocalypse" “soon” = Greek word τάχος = tachos = “quickness, speed” What do you think?
