The village is an in-patient hospice for destitute adults and children with HIV/AIDS, but critics say it's tantamount to putting people in a 'leper colony'. Established by the Reverend Corine McClintock, the village's patients include babies found discarded in rubbish bins and adults abandoned by relatives to die on mine-dumps. The village might seem like an AIDS ghetto - but for many sufferers, it's better than the alternative Find out more about AP Archive: http://www.aparchive.com/HowWeWork Twitter: / ap_archive Facebook: / aparchives Instagram: / apnews You can license this story through AP Archive: http://www.aparchive.com/metadata/you...
