Learn how to make a delicious berry galette from scratch with this easy to follow recipe. http://thesweetestjourney.com Ingredients: 1 1/4 Cups Whole Wheat Flour (150g) 1 Tablespoon Sugar (13g) 1/2 Teaspoon Salt (3g) 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (2.8g) 1/2 Cup Cold Unsalted Butter, Cubed (112g) 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice, Cold (15ml) 2 Tablespoons Cold Water (30ml) 1 Cup Blueberries (152g) 1 Cup Sliced Strawberries (172g) 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch (9g) 2 Tablespoons Sugar (26g) 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice (15ml) Directions: 1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Using a pastry cutter, cut in the cold butter until mixture is crumbly and resembles wet sand. 2. Add the lemon juice and cold water. Mix together until the dough holds together. If the dough is too dry, add 1 tablespoon of cold water at a time. Do not overmix. Form dough into a disk about 1 inch thick and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate until firm, at least 1 hour. 3. Place dough between two sheets of parchment paper, and roll out into a circle about 9 to 10 inches wide. Place the dough along with the bottom parchment sheet onto a baking sheet. 4. In a bowl, combine the blueberries, strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice; stir together until well combined. Spoon the berry mixture onto the center of the dough, leaving a 2 inch border around the edge empty. Fold the edge in over the berries and all around the circle. Brush the crust with an egg wash (1 egg yolk + 1 tablespoon water). 5.
