Make a rich and flavorful Lamb Curry at home with this authentic recipe! Tender lamb pieces are cooked with aromatic spices, coconut oil, mustard oil, and yogurt for a restaurant-style taste. Ingredients: Lamb – 1 kg Coconut oil – 2 tbsp Mustard oil – 2 tbsp Onion –2, sliced Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp Fennel powder – 1½ tsp Asafoetida – a pinch Salt – as required coriander powder- 1tsp kashmiri chilli powder – 1–2 tsp (dissolved in water) Garam masala – 1 tsp Yogurt – 3 tbsp Method: Heat a pan and add 2 tbsp coconut oil and 2 tbsp mustard oil. Sauté the spices briefly to release their aroma. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown. Sprinkle a little salt while sauting. Add 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few more minutes. Add lamb pieces (1 kg) and sauté until lightly browned. Mix in 1½ tsp fennel powder and a pinch of asafoetida, also coriander powder stirring well. Dissolve kashmiri chilli powder in water and add. Cover and cook for 45 minutes. Open the lid, add 1 tsp garam masala and 3 tbsp yogurt, and mix gently. Cook for a few more minutes until the lamb is tender and the gravy thickens. Serve hot with rice, roti, or naan.
