Feb 20, 2026 7:22am Starting my chase and while the Flyer was coming, the horn on 1475 got stuck sounding at the Butterfield Wy crossing down the line from here. The train made a brief stop between Butterfield Wy Bradshaw Rd to disable the horn and ran the rest of the way without it would of been something if I was down there at Butterfield to film that up close and a stuck horn sounding in the morning lol. UP 1475 has a nice sounding horn on that unit so I don't know if 1475 will be removed off this train or not because of this. Also, as you can see, the far median signal at this crossing had its counterweight arm hit again by a vehicle when it was in its lowered position not too long ago likely within days before filming this. It was already bent slightly from the same type of situation but now bent more so hopefully it's enough to grab SACRT's attention to bending it back straight like they did to the bent ones on Sunrise Blvd and at Starfire Dr. Also, the far shoulder signals GS Type 2 E-Bell is starting to lose its sound when ringing in the cold. Instead of ringing normally, in the cold it is starting to ring with a dry like sound and not the normal one that some GS Type 2 E-Bells have. This one sounds like a sick bell and you can slightly hear it at the start of each activation but it clears up to the normal sound while ringing.
