EP43: Tremendous Townsville - Part 2 | Townsville, Magnetic Island, Burdekin | Lap of Australia

PART 2 - When we finally get to Townsville, we spend a week exploring the city, check out the amazing Castle Hill, start our own scooter gang. We spend a day out on the stunning Magnetic Island, visiting some amazing beaches and taking in the WWII history. To finish the week we have a fantastic stay at the Burdekin Cane Farm and were lucky enough to experience a ferocious cane burn. PART 1 - What a week it’s been! We start in the wettest town in Australia, Tully, where we have a load of fun rafting down the famous Tully Gorge. We stop by beautiful Mission Beach and absolutely love this tiny little town with one of the best beaches on the East Coast! On our way towards Townsville, we stop at Ingham to checkout the tallest waterfall in Australia, Wallaman Falls, which drops a massive 268m. Then onto Crystal Creek to have a cool dip in the wonderful waterholes in the area. We are Hannah, Chris and dog Archie, setting off on a 12(ish) month trip around Australia - our BIG Staycation, with the whole of Australia as our backyard! We've quit our jobs, rented the house and gone from never towing a caravan, to touring the country full time with one!
