In part 8 we look at the engine bay, from removing the engine and giving that a good tidy-up, converting the gearbox into a work of art along the way. Then we come to dismantling the engine bay, its repaint and the painstaking rebuild. Karl had taken a series of detail pictures to show exactly which bolts were go back in their place, as assembled in France. We then come to stripping the engine and finding it in excellent condition both top and bottom. I may have looked embarrassing when it came out, but not so when it went back in. We finish with returning the car to being at least a steerable shell. I know Part 8 was a long time coming, mostly down to trying to get Windows Movie Maker stable enough on Win 10. My apologies for the delay, I hope to get Part 9 up a bit quicker ;)
