He has worked with A.R. Rahman, Sonu Nigam, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Pritam Chakraborty, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ajay-Atul, Arijit Singh, Amaal Malik to name a few. He started his journey in the field of music at the age of 10 under the guidance of his mentor Taufiq Qureshi ji. With songs such as Jai Jai Shivshankar from WAR, Dilbaro and Ae Watan from Raazi, Ghoomar from Padmavat and many more, Dipesh Varma is also a part of bands like Surya – The New Sun and Mumbai Stamp (Which uses buckets, barrels, trash cans and homemade instruments to create an exuberant percussive tapestry), founded by the maestro himself - Taufiq Qureshi ji.
